Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to Information Security Awareness (ISA) for 2009. At anytime, site administrators are able to take this website offline. The site is currently online.
If you are not able to find answer here, ask your question and site contacts should be able to give you an answer.

The font size of the ISA modules has recently been increased, but you will still be able to change the font size using Internet Explorer. Before you begin or resume your training, click on the View menu from your toolbar. From the View menu, click on the Text Size option and then select the Larger or Largest options.
  • Each training module is followed by a two question quiz. Your session will be automatically timed.
  • You will have the opportunity to pause your training after you have taken the quiz for each of the modules.
  • You cannot backup at any point during the test. Once you proceed to another module in the session, you cannot repeat or return to the previous module. The Back command on your browser will be disabled.
  • Once you begin a quiz, you will not be able to return to re-read a module. This means that you should read each module thoroughly before proceeding to the quiz.
  • The test window will always stay on top. You will not be able to bring any other window forward.
  • This Web site contains timed pages. If you do not click on any button or link within 60 minutes, your session will time out and you will be forced to use the Resume Training option.
Click the Begin Module link, and then follow the steps.
When you click the Begin Training link, click on the Manual Entry button to enter you information.
  • If you paused your training using the Pause button, an e-mail was sent to you at the e-mail you provided that contains an embedded link to resume training. When the email is received, click on the link in the email or cut and paste the link into your browser to resume training.
  • When you have time to return to the ISA module, click on the Begin Training link. Enter your last name in the Lastname field, click the Resume Training radio button, and then click the Search button. Select you name from the list, then click on Resume Training button. An e-mail will be sent to you with a link; click on this link or cut-and-paste this link into your browser. Click on Resume Training and you will return to where you left off. If you see the Continue Training link and not the Begin Training link, click on it and then resume your training.
